MISSION & VALUES
We follow Jesus in his mission to restore union between Heaven and
Earth, between God and people, between people and there neighbors,
by showing the love of God that is revealed in the person and work of
Jesus Christ. We seek to love, to forgive and live like Jesus.

1. Legacy Church: A Community of the Cross: We are a people
pointing to the cross of Christ as the ultimate satisfaction of our
greatest human need: to be forgiven and connected back to God.
Through love, acceptance, and forgiveness we will seek the lost in
Jesus name. All relationship with God begins at the cross of Jesus
Christ. The cross is the door through which we enter relationship.

2. Legacy Church: A Community of the Word: Leading ourselves and
others in a renewing of our mind by opening God's Living Word and
letting it change our hearts, and in turn the world by living out what it
says. (Romans 12:1-2)(Hebrews 4:11-12) "Sola Scriptura" by Scripture
alone.
3. Legacy Church: A Community of Faith: Led by the Holy Spirit,
by faith in Jesus, we are saved and the Holy Spirit is poured out into our
hearts. By faith, we want to labor with the Holy Spirit to lay new
Christ-centered foundations in ourselves, our families, with friends and with
community that's built on the ever-present love and Grace of God
revealed in Jesus. (Romans 5:5 ESV) (Romans 8:14-17) “Sola
Fide” by Faith alone.
4. Legacy Church: A Community Saved by Grace: We extend
grace; a grace received is a grace given. We as recipients of God's
grace, want to extend grace to help rebuild the old ruins in our hearts,
in the lives of others, and in our city. Wherever there is hurt in
our hearts, homes, and communities, we will be present to love in Jesus
name. (Ephesians 2:4-10)(Isaiah 61:4) "Sola Gratia" by Grace alone.
5. Legacy Church: A Community of God-Centered Worship:
Our worship will be to God, for God, and because of God's holiness
and great love revealed in Jesus Christ. We will seek to be a place where God
alone is lifted up and praised for his steadfast love shown in Jesus.

We belong to a denominational family known as Foursquare.
In its essence, it is the historic faith with emphasis on the gifts of the Holy
Spirit being for today. Also, Foursquare includes the beliefs of the four pillars of Jesus ministry being our: Savior, Healer, Baptizer in the Holy Spirit, and our soon coming King.
